PERSONALITY

Befitting a magpie witch, Miriam is short-tempered, arrogant, and territorial. She doesn't hold humans in very high regard and is proud to be born a witch and most times won't attempt to conceal that fact even if it brings consequences. From the typical nature of the witch's "pull of magic" she is inclined to destructive instincts in the form of greed and impulse. Though because of this she's also very out-spoken and brazen of her desires and will bring forth destructive impulses if she doesn't get her way.However, as long as she gets something in return that she considers valuable or her desire at the time she can be considered very cooperative and works well in teams when she has to.


POWER

Though not being particularly powerful in combat of any kind, though relies heavily on long-ranged attacks, she specializes in speed, espionage, and mimicking. Her abilities range about average and because she doesn't particularly focus on it tends to struggle with high-level spells resulting in shorter times she can uphold spells like soul protect.

SPECIAL ABILITIES

+ Long-Ranged combatant: Miriam is fairly proficient at long-ranged combat from small focused attacks to some wide-ranged ones depending on the situation.+ Wavelength control: Miriam has a flexible soul, despite her nature she is capable of adjusting herself accordingly if it meant she could get what she wants. This makes it easy for her to handle other people's wavelengths without too much difficulty without having to worry about compatibility.+ Thievery: Though most acts are done blatantly without thought. Miriam is actually capable of performing actual high-level heists with relative success most times most victims not realizing it's gone until far too late.


MAGIC

As a witch, Miriam is inherently able to use and manipulate magic at will.+ Feather Magic: Manifesting feathers with her magic and or using any surrounding feathers she can manipulate their properties. They can stay ordinary, harden enough to cut and or even detonate like bombs.+ Calculation Spells: This magic uses mathematics to create "place makers" for placing the exact coordinates of an even more complex magical spell. It is best used for creating portals, positioning attacks, and supporting magic like Spatial Magic.+ Tranformation: As a Magpie witch, she is able to transform into a magpie.

WEAKNESSES

If someone were to get close to Miriam she wouldn't be able to properly defend herself in close combat. So she actively avoids fighting up close focusing on her speed instead to get out of such situations or will flee if it isn't favorable.She is incredibly greedy, selfish enough to be quick to throw others to save herself but Midge is also she's very susceptible to bribery and will spill whatever secrets or information depending if the reward is big enough making her very unreliable and a bad liar.


HISTORY

Miriam's family didn't play a significant role in her life, they weren't interest in the little witch once she passed that "cute phase" old enough to the point she was pretty much allowed to do whatever she wanted. They were absent to the point that Miriam doesn't actually remember how they actually look like at first glance. With given freedom the little witch spent an innocent life wandering around the westside of the United States. But being a little witch didn't come with their fair share of trouble, being far too young for the "pull of magic" to take hold she spent a lot of time hiding away from any potential meisters looking for witches and or shady humans that wanted to harness her power as a witch which consequently made her hate humans early on, not being helped by the words of the witches of the older generations when the topic came about. During the times she spent alone she slowly found herself gaining an interest in spending time in beaches and forests collecting anything she found shiny, valuable or not she collected it. For some reason, she was attracted by how certain objects glitter or shined that as time passed on her desire for such objects began to grow. . .Miriam started to collect. As her magic potential and ability grew so did her "instincts", she went from collecting to stealing to cause a ruckus to sate her desires but she did not steal just from the humans but witches too. She stole gadgets, weapons, bottles, metal objects, coins, etc. But of course that didn't come without consequences, witches and humans alike were after Miriam. She quickly grew to be territorial to everything she considered hers, attacking both parties whenever they tried to retrieve their property, causing destruction and having altercations until they were defeated, gave up or gave her something she considered far more valuable as trade. The Witch's Order once considered to put her own trial at some point because of her actions but Miriam was quick to negotiate and returned everything that was stolen from the witches alone if it spared her from serious prosecution. But since she never committed a murder or anything that would warrant her an immediate threat she wasn't on the reaper's immediate radar either.Now at the present day, she still takes stuff from others, witch or human but because she risked harsh punishment from the Order she tends to take items that would inconvenience the victim such as shoes, candles, and any other menial items that make her more of a nuisance than a threat.
